KEY POINTS

  • JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers tied the knot at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California, Saturday
  • The wedding comes six years after their engagement on the show’s finale in 2016
  • The couple’s nuptials was postponed several times due to the pandemic

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are officially Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers.

The “Bachelorette” couple tied the knot in front of their close pals and families at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California, Saturday, People reported. The wedding comes six years after their engagement on the show’s finale in 2016.

“It sounds cliché, but I really am marrying my best friend,” Fletcher, 31, told People. “Everything that’s happened in our relationship has only made us stronger. And we just feel so lucky.”

She went on to express her excitement about starting a new chapter with Rodgers, 33, after their wedding was postponed several times due to the pandemic.

Fletcher said they had a date in 2020 and a date in 2021 because they kept thinking that “the world would get back to normal but it didn’t.” After the long wait, she said she was happy that they finally made it to the altar.

“It feels so good! It took a while to get here, but it was all so worth it. We are FINALLY married!!! Can’t wait to start this next chapter of our life together,” she added.

The real estate developer walked down the aisle wearing an Ines di Santo gown. The black-tie event was designed by Gianna SanFilippo and produced by Leila Lewis of Be Inspired PR.

The intimate ceremony was attended by some “Bachelor” Nation alums, including Becca Tilley, Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk. The guests gathered for an elegant Italian outdoor dinner of pasta, steak and fish.

“We wanted the vibe of our wedding to be traditional in a sense, but also playful and fun and unique,” Fletcher said of their big day. “We’ve been planning for a long time, so we wanted it to be just right!”

Last year, Fletcher and Rodgers decided to push back their nuptials again because they didn’t want to change their wedding plans and chose to stick with the venue they had picked out.

However, the maximum number of people it could hold at the time was still limited due to the pandemic, so the couple decided to delay their wedding because they “absolutely love that venue that we chose.”

“We’ve already postponed it a year from the last time. And when we rescheduled it for this year, it was supposed to be this month,” Fletcher told Us Weekly in May 2021.

She added, “And when we had to make our final call, our venue is still at a 10-person maximum capacity. And everyone says, ‘Well, why wouldn’t you just move the venue and change your location and do all those things?’ Well, guys, it’s not that easy because there’s a lot of money tied up that we wouldn’t be able to get back!”

Following multiple delays, Fletcher told People that there was a point when they briefly considered eloping. However, she said they ultimately realized that their families and friends had already been on their side and “decided to just ride it out.”

Now that they’re finally married, Fletcher said she and her husband are grateful for how far they’ve come.

“Jordan is everything I’ve always looked for in a man,” she said of the sports announcer. “I’m just so ready for this next chapter of our lives to start!”
